New Segment: Things I’ve Learned
Ever since I can remember, I’ve always had friends casually ask me for advice on subjects ranging from electronics, to school work, to relationships, to career, and everything in between. See, I’m by no means an expert in any given area, but I’d like to think at the very least I’m capable of sending people in the right direction or getting them on the right track.
I’ve always been one of those people that likes to know how everything works, and researches everything to the nth degree. I dual majored in college in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (known at our university as the “suicide program”) simply because I couldn’t decide between the two (and didn’t want to not know either subject). In my spare time, I read mostly non-fiction, my favorite three subjects being Business and Economics, Marketing, and Theoretical Physics (anything from quantum mechanics to M-theory). And of course, I also subscribe to a bunch of blogs and magazine feeds (my favorite is probably Wired).
Today I had the sweet idea of actually blogging my advice and what I know, as people ask me. I’ll try to make this at least a bi-daily occurrence, since I’ve got quite a few subjects in queue. But we’ll just have to see how that goes
Warning: I’ll probably cover topics of all sorts with little to no segue. So, if you’re curious about everything, this should hopefully be an interesting and informative feed for you. I’ll try to keep these as short as possible as well.
So, what random piece of information can you expect in the next post?…

As you will post, I will likely comment as I too feel that I’m decent at pointing people in the right direction. Looking forward to the fun conversations to be had and I too hope to be able to help out. For those who follow this blog, I can assure you, there will be some fun topics and equally funny responses.
When we launch the Blog at WhatUNeedLocal.com, I hope you’ll join me there too.
